As a sign of love, support, and spiritual cooperation, praying for your spouse is crucial. Your intercession as his spouse provides a strong shield over his life, directing his choices, supporting him through adversity, and uplifting him in his spiritual journey. Personally, through heartfelt prayers, I seek God’s divine protection over my husband, asking for wisdom and strength to guide him in his daily challenges, which is what every wife should do to their husbands. I lift him up before the Lord, requesting blessings for his career, health, and spiritual growth, trusting that God knows the deepest desires of his heart.
Colossians 1:9-10 “And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him.”

Through the inspiration and guidance of God almighty, I have been able to outline some of the prayers that wives should be praying for their husbands because praying for your husband also strengthens your role as his helper and support, fulfilling your calling to stand beside him through every season of life.
Proverbs 31:11-12 “The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life.”
1. Prayer for My Husband’s Protection and Safety:
Dear Lord of Hosts, I lift my husband before You, asking for Your divine protection and safety. As he moves through each day, I pray that You surround him with Your mighty angels, guarding him from harm and unseen dangers. Almighty God, shield him from every plot of the enemy, both spiritual and physical.
Let no weapon formed against him prosper. Jehovah Shalom, I ask for Your peace to cover him, so that he may rest securely in the knowledge of Your constant care. Protect his mind, body, and spirit from the stresses and pressures of life, and guide his steps on paths of righteousness.
